Tube Feeding Resources
Tube Feeding Podcast
I recently discovered a new podcast "Beyond The Tube".
It's hosted by a tubie mom exploring the "challenges and triumphs of caring for a tube-fed child, with insights from medical professionals, parents, and people with lived experience."
It's only 3 episodes in but I've enjoyed them all so far with practical tips and insights, I'm looking forward to more episodes.
Blended Tube feeding webinar
Back in February, I presented at the Real Food in The Tube educational webinar that brought an international blended tube feeding community together. We celebrated advancements with global acceptance and emerging new products in the blended tube feeding world.
Four companies shared their journey and passions behind their blended tube feeding products.
I spoke about how professionals can support families on their blended tube feeding journey.
It was truly inspiring - check out the recording in the link above.
Oley annual conference
Primed and ready to grow is this year's theme, being held in Charleston, South Carolina from June 17 to 20th.
This annual event brings together patients, care givers and clinicians to build community, support and awareness.
On the blog...

How do you gain weight on a feeding tube?

And some of these approaches work just fine.
I'm taking a look at these but also offering a new approach...
Curious how this new approach could help you gain weight?

Head and neck cancer stories: Food for (tube feeding) thought
April was head and neck cancer awareness month.
It was one of my head and neck cancer patients that inspired my own journey into blended tube feeds.
In this article, head and neck cancer patients share their own experiences with tube feeds and blended food.

Ask me anything
Someone asked: What's the best food to start with?
A simple place to start is with single ingredients, blended with your formula or water - things like applesauce, prunes, banana, sweet potato, oatmeal.
The rate that you add in new ingredients or try more complex blends depends on your tolerance and if you've had food before or not.
Always talk to your team before adding in any new foods or altering your feeding routine.
If you're looking for more support, check out my services and my signature course to help you master blending!
Best!
